Key Problems Before Using BluLine

For the T. Marzetti Company, one of the biggest struggles when it came to their newest distribution center in Atlanta was the time to take manual measurements in the warehouse. Measurements were taken twice a day at a minimum. It would also take at least 10 minutes to acclimate the thermometers to each room in the warehouse and to individual temperatures.

The key here was finding a solution that could provide insight into the temperature data. Understanding the crucial next steps to take to minimize any risks and maximize efficiency within the warehouse was necessary.

Our Solution

When our team went on site, BluLine’s RF ambient air temperature devices, as well as our flagship product, our IdentiCool™ sensor using Digital Twin Technology, were used to gain insight as to the REAL temperatures in the facility, not just what was being reported on their commercial cooling system.

Here is what Austin Newcombe, the Quality Assurance Manager of the Marzetti Atlanta Distribution Center, says about our solution:

“The best results I can share are that I never have to worry about “if” my temperatures in the facility are within spec. With real-time notifications I am able to communicate with our HVAC provider to correct any issues.”

The BluLine team installed over 20 sensors across the 180,000-square-foot warehouse. We continue to provide real-time visibility, actionable insights, and ongoing support, enabling The T. Marzetti Company to make informed adjustments, improve temperature consistency, reduce product shrink, and create a safer, more comfortable working environment for employees.
